Passionate about defending taxpayers’ rights and a key member of the firm’s Tax team, Julie Tremblay dedicates her practice to actively protecting and defending her clients’ interests.

Individuals and companies alike benefit from Julie’s advice in various litigation bringing them face-to-face with tax authorities, including litigation on income tax and consumption tax (GST/QST). Having started her career at Revenu Québec, she has a unique strategic understanding of the organization. This advantage helps her guide her clients diligently through administrative tax procedures, including voluntary disclosures, tax audits, and objections. She also has extensive experience in negotiation and dispute resolution. She has pleaded many cases before the competent jurisdictions, including the Tax Court of Canada and the Court of Québec.

Julie has also been involved in many criminal tax cases, both in trials and in Jordan-and Jarvis-type preliminary motions. She is dedicated to the profession and teaches the course GST, HST, and QST: Administration, Collection, Objection, and Appeal at the Université de Sherbrooke. She is also actively involved in the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).
