Montréal, November 19, 2021 – With almost a month to go before the end of the articling period, De Grandpré Chait is pleased to announce that its two articling students Alexander Rigante and Liam Roy have been hired. They will officially join the firm once they take their oaths in December 2021.
Over the past few months, these aspiring lawyers have distinguished themselves by their thirst for learning and their passion for the law. Navigating through several practice areas, they have been deeply involved in cases and have successfully demonstrated their ability to practise law. These recruits will undoubtedly be valuable assets to the firm. De Grandpré Chait has been attracting solid talent over the past few years and these new hires reflect the firm’s commitment to training the next generation of lawyers.
Students selected at the end of the Course aux stages secure an exceptional opportunity to gain real-life experience in a law firm. The next Course aux stages will take place from March 14 to 25, 2022.
Our recruits: who are they?
Alexander Rigante holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Université de Montréal and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Concordia University. His academic involvement includes volunteering at the Université de Montréal’s mediation clinic. He will soon be developing his practice within the real estate law team.
Liam Roy holds a Law degree from the University of Ottawa and is fully committed to his professional field. He was a student volunteer at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. Following his oath, he will join the commercial litigation team.
