As of April 1, 2022: Mandatory continuing education for general and specialized contractors

As of April 1, 2022, members of specific licences subcategories will be required to complete a certain number of hours of continuing education. The number of mandatory hours will vary depending on the sub-categories.

This obligation is primarily aimed at general and specialized contractors, but has special features for Master electricians and Master Pipe-Mechanics. Trainings will need prior recognition by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec and/or the Corporation des maîtres mécaniciens en tuyauterie du Québec, depending on the subcategory or subcategories of licence concerned.
