Major Acquisition in Anjou and Boucherville.
A new transaction has recently been completed in the Québec real estate market, involving the acquisition of more than 182 residential units located in Anjou and Boucherville....
The MacDonald Portfolio, a landmark real estate complex located in Côte-Saint-Luc, was recently sold, marking one of the largest multifamily transactions of the year in Québec.
Comprising three sixteen-storey residential towers with a total of 440 spacious units averaging 1,054 square feet, the MacDonald Portfolio stands out for its scale and variety of housing types. The buildings occupy a prime location on the Island of Montreal, near the prestigious Hampstead community, in one of the region’s most sought-after rental markets.
Built in the early 1970s, the complex had remained under the same ownership for nearly 50 years — making this the first time in almost half a century that the MacDonald Avenue towers have changed hands.
De Grandpré Chait is proud to have advised the sellers of the MacDonald Portfolio on this significant transaction, with a real estate team led by Marc J. Rubin, together with Deirdra Corber, Eric Lupovich, Audréanne Noël and Robert Greenberg.
