De Grandpré Chait hires its articling student
Montréal, October 24, 2022 – De Grandpré Chait is pleased to announce the hiring of Marie-Pier Leroux to the municipal law team. Recruited during the 2021 Course aux stages, she joins De Grandpré Chait after successfully completing her articling period at the firm, and after being sworn in by the Barreau du Québec at a ceremony held on October 19.
Over the past few months, Marie-Pier has distinguished herself by her thirst for learning and her passion for the law. Navigating in several practice areas, she has been involved in the heart of cases and has successfully demonstrated her ability to practice law. She will undoubtedly be an asset to our firm.
Marie-Pier now assists the municipal law team in a variety of files, including expropriation, urban planning, municipal taxation and municipal regulations. She supports the team in legal research as well as in the drafting of procedures and legal opinions. She can also act before all civil courts in the province, including the Superior Court of Quebec and the Court of Appeal.
De Grandpré Chait has been attracting solid talent over the past few years and this new hire reflect the firm’s commitment to training the next generation of lawyers.
