Martin Delisle to speak about the obligation for transparency on the part of tax authorities at the Colloque sur l’administration fiscale 2022 conference

Montréal, March 14, 2022 – On March 17, Martin DelisleTax Litigation Partner and Head of the Business Law Group, will be a speaker at the Colloque sur l’administration fiscale 2022 conference organized by the Association de planification fiscale et financière.

Entitled “Obligation de transparence des autorités fiscales,” the conference will focus on the extent of the taxpayer’s right to information. Topics will include the question of information sharing in administrative policies, the environment governing the decisions of tax authorities in a post-Vavilov context, as well as the decision to withhold documents generated by public administrations in criminal and civil cases.

About the speaker  

Recognized for his extensive expertise in civil and criminal tax litigation, Martin Delisle’s practice focuses on all areas of civil and criminal tax litigation, including tax evasion, commodity taxes (GST, HST and QST), tax audits (e.g. challenges to direct and indirect verification methods), Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) and contentious tax recovery files.
