Cindy Gilbert

Notary, Estate Services Coordinator

Cindy Gilbert is notary and estate services coordinator within our tax and estate planning group.

With over thirty years of experience in notarial law, she possesses extensive expertise in estate law and wealth planning. Her deep understanding of these areas allows her to approach each situation with discernment, rigor, and sensitivity. Cindy favors a preventive approach to law, where planning and communication serve as key tools to prevent conflicts and safeguard each individual’s wishes.

Throughout her career, Cindy has distinguished herself not only through her professional expertise but also through her human and organizational qualities. A natural leader, she has led her team for many years, always driven by a desire to foster a work environment rooted in trust, collaboration, and kindness.

Dynamic, creative, and dedicated, Cindy is also an accomplished entrepreneur. She co-founded two major enterprises: her notarial practice—which, together with her associate, became Quebec’s leading firm devoted entirely to estate law and personal law—and MAGISTRUM, Formation et Conseil inc., a legal training company that quickly stood out for its success and its contribution to the profession.

Her career, marked by consistency and excellence, is grounded in a holistic vision of the notary’s role—as both a legal practitioner and a trusted advisor. As Estate Services Coordinator, she ensures the smooth execution of mandates, the quality of services delivered, and the cohesion of the team.

In parallel, Cindy actively contributes to the advancement of the profession. As a lecturer at the Université de Montréal, trainer, and author of specialized works, she is deeply involved in the transmission of knowledge and the promotion of Quebec’s notarial practice.
