De Grandpré Chait, a leader in the Chambers Canada Guide 2018

Montréal, September 28, 2017 – We are pleased to announce that, once again, De Grandpré Chait ranks highly in the renowned Chambers Canada Guide. It is a particular honour taking into account that the legal guides published by Chambers are the most widely consulted by in-house counsel in the world. They are also the result of extensive research and interviews conducted with lawyers and clients.

“In addition to seeing our firm acknowledged as a leader in real estate law in Quebec (“Band 2“), we are proud to see our Municipal Law team make its entrance in the renowned directory in the “Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use – Québec” category. Furthermore, two of our colleagues, Marc J. Rubin and Fredric L. Carsley, are also honoured for their outstanding expertise in real estate law. In addition to being ranked at the second grade of recognition (“Band 2”) on a national level, Marc J. Rubin is the only lawyer practising in Quebec to be named “Star Individual”, a new category above “Band 1”, the former highest level of recognition”, said Eric Lalanne, the firm’s Chairman of the Board and President of the Management Committee.

Released in September 2017, the Chambers Canada Guide 2018  recommends lawyers and law firms in more than 40 areas of practice in all of Canada’s provinces and territories.
