COVID-19: Health and Safety at the center of our decisions

Montréal, March 16, 2020 – De Grandpré Chait would like to reassure all of its clients and suppliers regarding the evolution of COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees and clients are at the center of our decisions. We have set up a business continuity plan to minimize the impact on our clients. Thus, our professionals remain available in order to assist you. For public health reasons, we have taken precautionary measures to avoid the risk of propagation or contagion:

• Cancel or postpone non-essential events that were planned;
• Hold meetings virtually;
• Restrict travel outside of Canada.

In addition, we have the infrastructure and tools required to enable us to switch to remote working mode, if necessary, so that there is no interruption in our operations.

Finally, our litigation teams will ensure that they act in such a way as to minimize the impact on your business following the suspension of the majority of judicial activities before the civil courts of first instance announced on March 13, 2020.
