De Grandpré Chait advises MTRPL and Sailcap on the acquisition of the historic Les Cours Mont-Royal
On September 25, 2025, Montreal-based MTRPL, specializing primarily in mixed-use urban development, together with Sailcap, specializing in commercial real estate investment, management and development, acquired the historic Les Cours Mont-Royal complex.
This major acquisition represents more than 258,000 square feet of office space and a health club in the heart of downtown Montreal. A true landmark building, this complex is a mixed-use real estate hub that brings together retail, office, and residential properties.
