Matthew represents and advises lenders, borrowers, investors, companies struggling financially, commercial landlords and tenants, asset purchasers, suppliers, directors, monitors, receivers, trustees and other stakeholders in the context of proceedings commenced under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Canada Business Corporations Act.

Matthew’s practice covers all facets of litigation, ranging from providing strategic advice to clients on litigious or potentially litigious issues to representing clients at trial. He regularly pleads before the Québec Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Québec and the Court of Québec.
