Arnaud Hoste

Arnaud Hoste is a member of our public property law team. He is developing a practice focused on public property law, encompassing land use planning and zoning, public contracts and procurement, environmental matters, governance, and intergovernmental relations.

He advises clients on complex matters and represents their interests before administrative tribunals and civil courts. Known for his thoroughness, proactive approach, and pragmatism, he focuses on comprehensive, lasting solutions tailored to their needs.

Before joining De Grandpré Chait, Arnaud began his career at a major national law firm. He then served as legal counsel at the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal, where he also held the position of Acting Secretary. These experiences deepened his knowledge of administrative, municipal, contract, and environmental law.

He holds a Master of Laws from McGill University, where his research examined the role of municipalities within the Canadian federation through the lens of cooperative federalism, intergovernmental relations, and environmental governance.
