Profitable settlement for the customer of the De Grandpré Chait municipal law team in Beaconsfield

De Grandpré Chait is proud to announce that its municipal law team managed by Marc Beauchemin in close collaboration with J.M. Fecteau and J.D. Lamy, successfully resolved, a major suit for indemnity on September 21, 2018. This suit exposed the disguised expropriation case of a vast area located in Beaconsfield.

The out-of-court settlement involved the acquisition of our client’s building by the City of Montreal for an amount exceeding $14 million, the development of which had been blocked for more than thirty years.
