Sonia Ishimwe Ahimana, on her way to becoming a legal professional.

Sonia is a dedicated individual who actively engaged with the McGill University community in various capacities during her academic journey. She volunteered as a caseworker at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill during her second and third years. In addition, she was a member of the Black Law Students’ Association of McGill. In her first year, she served as the Vice-President of Finance, and in her second year, she took on the role of Co-President.

Sonia will navigate through several practice areas and be involved in various files throughout her articling term. By collaborating with experienced lawyers, she will acquire all the experience she needs to become a skilled legal professional.
