Ève Chabot

Ève Chabot is perfectly at home when it comes to urban planning

Ève practises on the Municipal Law and Expropriation team, with a focus on land-use planning and development matters.

She began her career as an urban planner and has a keen understanding of this area and of the inner workings of municipal administration. She has drafted urban development plans and by-laws and produced regulatory analysis documents for various regions in Quebec. This experience enables her to thoroughly understand the interests of both parties in the context of her practice.

She supports the team by conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and legal opinions, analyzing files, devising strategies and arguments, preparing examinations and conducting witness prep.

She also defends clients’ interests before all levels of civil court in Quebec, including the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal. Ève is committed to supporting access to justice and was a Pro Bono volunteer throughout her studies.
