Our tax litigation team welcomes a new member

Montréal, February 8, 2017 – Our tax litigation team has the pleasure to welcome a new member within its ranks. Julie Tremblay’s practice focuses on civil and penal tax litigation. Devoted to defend taxpayers’ interests, she represents individuals as well as businesses involved in various private sectors, such as the food industry, retail, garment manufacturing and construction. As part of her functions, she accompanies clients through different administrative processes such as voluntary disclosures, tax audits and objections. Ms. Tremblay also represents clients before the Tax Court of Canada, the Court of Québec as well as superior courts. Mastering both federal and provincial tax legislation, Ms. Tremblay advises her clients in varying contexts opposing them to tax authorities, including income tax, scientific research and experimental development tax incentive program (SR&ED), and consumption taxes (GST, HST and QST). Moreover, Ms. Tremblay, having worked for the Objection Department at Revenu Québec, has a unique strategic knowledge of the organization. She is therefore able to accompany her clients with diligence and expertise through administrative tax procedures.
