Blue line extension: New expropriation notices issued

Montréal, January 27, 2020 – On December 19, 2019, the Government of Québec has adopteda decree authorizing the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) to launch new expropriation proceedings as part of the extension of the Montréal métro’s Blue line. New expropriation notices were sent to several property owners in Anjou.

Owners, tenants or occupants must diligently address these notices. In order to receive a full and complete compensation, they must appear in writing before the Tribunal administratif du Québec within 15 days following receipt of the expropriation notice.
