His practice covers claims for extras, legal hypothecs, surety bonds and contractors’ obligations, as well as all matters relating to hypothecary guarantees and involving the Régie du bâtiment du Québec and the Commission de la construction du Québec.

He also works in commercial litigation, and surety and insurance law. Jean-Philippe provides results-focused advice to defend his clients’ interests and help bring their projects to fruition. His clients include general and specialized contractors, hypothecary lenders and individuals. Though he favours alternative dispute resolution models, he regularly pleads before the Superior Court, the Court of Québec, the Court of Appeal and various administrative tribunals.Jean-Philippe is committed to developing the future generation of lawyers and has been teaching at the Quebec Bar School for over 10 years.
